This razor saw includes a hobby knife handle and a detachable blade with very fine teeth, useful for occasional field repairs or very fine shop work. This saw will take longer to cut through hammer shanks (compared to our Japanese Pull Saw), but is more portable, which may make it more suitable for your mobile tool kit. If you use this saw with our Hammer Shank Splicing Jig, remember to take your time and let the saw do the work, and the cut will be much easier to make if the jig is clamped to a sturdy work surface.
