The Coil Canisters make it easier to work with 1-pound coils of piano wire.
Current inventory is low, so orders containing multiple canisters may not ship immediately.
Features:
- The lid rotates clockwise to lock into place, and counter-clockwise to unlock/remove. A zip tie can be used to prevent the lid from being opened accidentally, once the wire is loaded.
- Canisters stack for easy storage.
- The end of the wire is easily secured when not in use, using the holes in the lid's inner ring: Pass the end of the wire through the hole and crimp the end of the wire so it cannot be pulled back through.
- There is a window for inserting the gauge marker. You can download this PDF file, print on paper or card stock, and cut along the lines (each marker is about 29mm x 20mm).
- "Speed bumps" on the underside of the lid's ring opening provide some resistance when extracting wire from the canister, to prevent "runaway uncoiling.
